What is a Court Runner and why do you want it?

We are excited to announce our latest consumer product, Court Runner. Released early last week, Whitepages Premium Court Runner finds the most up-to-date information on an individual such as misdemeanors and felonies from a local or county courthouse.

Why is it useful?

Court Runner provides the most up-to-date criminal information about an individual (from the time it was requested) from specific counties. To complete a search for an individual you need to provide a name, county, and date of birth. Then it is as simple as a click of a button.

There are four main types of courts searches:

1. Online courthouse – runner has remote digital access.
2. In court digital access – the runner goes into a courthouse and uses a computer to receive data.
3. Clerk Assisted – The runner and a clerk assisted researcher work together to retrieve data.
4. Clerk Run – the runner goes to a clerk and tells them what data to retrieve and the clerk becomes responsible for the research and task. However, this can take more than five days.

How is it different?

The Court Runner report is meant to compliment a background check. This report provides data as far back as ten years. Other services, like nation databases, gather their data in bulk and is great for a quick check. However, they do not ensure a full, comprehensive list of records. With Whitepages’ Court Runner and the help of SmartCheck, all of the most up-to-date information can be found upon a single search.
