Whitepages Summer Interns 2018

Every Summer, Whitepages has a Summer Internship Program for college students. Interns explore projects and get hands-on experience in a professional setting. In the past, our interns have worked on many different teams including Engineering, Marketing, Accounting, Customer Insights, and more.

Technical and non-technical internships have different responsibilities, therefore, the interview process can vary. Within Engineering, the process begins with a coding challenge. Afterwards, the candidate has a phone call with a recruiter and then two technical phone screens with engineers. Finally, there is a technical Skype or onsite interview with the hiring manager.

In non-technical roles, the interview process begins with a conversation with a recruiter. Afterwards, there’s a phone interview with the hiring manager. The candidate is invited onsite to meet with the hiring manager along with several members of the team.

Our internships are 12 weeks long over the course of the Summer. Our interns learn about the functions of a business and work on a project that often goes into production by the end of summer. Between all of the work day to day, we also host events including escape rooms, kayaking and SUP, and Whirlyball.

This year, we have two interns on our Engineering teams and one intern on our Pro Marketing team. Check in later this week to learn more!
