Users are able to add their name and cell phone number directly on our web site. You can add your cell phone number to WhitePages.com by following these instructions:

1. Select the Home tab in the main navigation and click the "Add Cell Number" link in the secondary navigation.
2. Click the "Get Started" button on the Add Cell Number product page.

At this time, we do not offer the ability to add full, residential listings (e.g. name, address and phone number) directly to our Web site. We hope to be able to offer this service in the future.

How do I add a listing and start receiving text messages?

1. Go to Add Cell Number page.
2. Click on the Get Started button.
3. Fill out the form and click on the check box to "hide my number and let people send text messages to me". Click on the Preview my listing and make any edits on the next page.
4. After you click on Publish my listing, a text message will be sent to your cell phone. Check your cell phone for a message from 566587 (LOOKUP, our short code). Reply YES to lookup to publish your listing.

How do I remove a cell phone listing?

To remove a listing, follow these instructions:

• Search for the listing on our website.
• If your search includes multiple results, click "Listing Details" of the listing to be removed.
• Scroll down to the "privacy options" box and click, "Is this you? Remove your listing".

How do I remove a listing and stop receiving text messages?

1. Send the word STOP to 566587 (LOOKUP, our short code) to permanently remove your listing and stop receiving text messages.
   1. You will receive a confirmation text message: This confirms your listing has been permanently removed from WhitePages.com and you will not receive any additional text messages. Reply HELP for assistance.
2. Search for your listing on our website. If the search displays multiple results, click on your listing to display the listing details page. Scroll down to the "privacy options" box and click, "Is this you? Remove your listing". Follow instructions to remove listing.
3. Contact customer service via email or call 800-336-1327 for assistance with listing removal

• To add, edit or remove a Canadian business listing available via "Business Search" results, contact 411.ca.

The information will be updated on WhitePages.com "Business Search" results in approximately 5-7 days.

Where does listing information come from?

We obtain our listing information from a broad variety of publicly available information sources and third party data suppliers. Users are also able to publish their name and mobile phone numbers directly on our Web site.

Business and government listings in "Business Search" results are provided by our business listings partners: SuperPages.com for U.S. listings and 411.ca for Canadian business listings.

WhitePages.com listing information is available exclusively online. WhitePages.com does not distribute phone books or sell hard copy or CD versions of our directory.
